Paige Byrd '25 Recruiting Profile

As a multi-sport athlete it has taught me a lot over the years. Most of my life I have been focused on my goal of becoming a collegiate cheerleader on the division one level. I have spent multiple years in the gym, putting in many nights and lots of hours a week. In high school, I have recently started playing softball, which was a great change from competitive cheer, as well as being a sideline cheerleader for my high school. Each sport has taught me diversity in sports, but one thing remains the same. Each one requires dedication, discipline and hard work to take yourself to the next level.

Even though I participate in multiple sports, competitive cheer has my heart. Something about stepping out on that mat knowing that we have one shot, one shot at perfection for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

I love being on a team that demands perfection and demands me to bring my best.
