I am currently a junior at WHHS, I am the Co- Captain of my cheer team for the 23-24 season and two time NCA All-American. I was inspired as a young girl by the high school cheerleaders in my hometown by attending the annual Homecoming games. I have always enjoyed dance and gymnastics and thought to Tryout for cheer my 7th grade year. I tried out not knowing what cheer was but started to love it. The games and practices brought joy to me. In late 2020 I began attending a tumbling gym in my area, Powerhouse Dance and Tumbling. I started the class not even having my backhandspring, by attending once a week, a few private lessons, and while having a strong work ethic I got my roundoff backhandspring tuck within 14 months. I have cheered my 7th, 8th,9th,10th grade years and currently cheering on Varsity for 11th. I have a strong passion for the sport, I wake up every morning and I am so excited to go to practice and I always have a postive attitude toward my teammates and coach. Cheering is something I look forward to and something I greatly enjoy. I want to continue to cheer after high school. Being a cheerleader in high school and college has always been a goal and a dream for me. I would love to compete and grow my skills as a college cheerleader!
