Claudia Perez '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Claudia,

I am currently a Junior at Canyon High School where I have been cheering for 3 years. I have enjoyed my experience cheering especially coming into high school new to cheer. I loved being pushed beyond my limits, especially when stunting and I love doing new things. Cheer has not only improved me physically but mentally . it has helped me grow as a person and taught me many valuable things. It has put my leadership skills to work and has tested them. I believe that in that role I am able to be a great team leader and able to help others along with learning from them. Cheer has become a second family to me and I hope to continue doing cheer to collage level where I am able to continue growing my skills. My plan for my future is to go to school and get a degree in health science and in math. As of right now, I do my best to maintain my grades and my 4.0 GPA. I take collage classes when available to me or take advantage of any programs that will help me for my career. I care very much about my studies and strive to do my best in all classes. I hope to continue and honors/AP path for the rest of my high year as it gives me a challenge I know I can take on.
