Samantha Zambrano '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Zambrano.  I am currently a Junior at Vanden High School Class of 2024.  I am academically and athletically strong.  I have been a cheerleader since I was 8 years old.  My Cheer journey began with Sacramento Youth Football League in 2016 and it has continued since into High School. My abilities allowed for me to become part of the Varsity Team in my Sophomore year. I have been part of many competitions which have won many National competition titles through out my career with Vacaville Junior Bulldogs, Vacaville Elite and now Vanden High School. I am currently a Level 3 tumbler actively working my way into a 4. I have had many positions in my cheer career as a base, back spot, flyer and tumbler.  I am currently a base, a flyer and a tumbler in my teams. I cheer for sideline as well as the competition dance and competition sideline team. I absolutely love cheer and everything it brings. Cheer is a big part of my life and has assisted me in becoming a hard working responsible individual. I understand the physical and mental demand of the sport and appreciate the young adult I am turning into. I look forward to becoming a part of a sideline College cheer team as well as compete in the college level. The quote I live by “if you are on time you are late, if you are early you are on time!” Discipline builds character and I believe Cheer has done just that!
