Hello! My name is Skyler Perry, an incoming Senior at Templeton High School, located in California. I have been doing All Star cheer for 4 years, and sideline cheer for 8 years. I have always bounced back and forth between sports, but at the end of the day I always ended up cheering. I have wanted to cheer in college under the big lights, and huge stadium since before I got my first skill.
Every year I face new challenges with school and cheer, but I push myself beyond my limits academically and athletically. I will never give up on anything, and always finish what I've started. I keep a positive mindset not only for myself but also for those around me, because I believe that my attitude can have an affect on the whole team.
With that being said, cheer leading is the sport I thrive to achieve after High School not only because it's a dream, but also for the challenges and lessons the team faces throughout the season. Being able to work as a team and create those friendships and bonds, is what allows each individual to grow mentally and physically and conquer challenges as a whole.
