My name is Ashlee Andrade. I attend Elsinore High School and will graduate Class of 2023. I have been involved in cheer for the last 4 years, All-Star and high school. Before I found the love of cheer and stunt I played club soccer competitively for 5 years as well as in my freshman year of high school.
I am looking forward to a memorable senior year. I will be involved in ASB, Cheer, and Agriculture. Where I hope to have the most impact is in the agriculture department, specializing in Veterinary Science. Vet Science gives me the opportunity to raise and train a puppy provided by Guide Dogs for The Blind. I’ve seen how impactful raising a guide dog can be. I was fortunate enough to raise a puppy (Jen) from 10w till she was 6months and have decided to raise another puppy for Guide Dogs for the Blind my senior year.
My love for cheer isn’t just for the camaraderie with my teammates but a love of the energy and environment it provides on and off the mat/stage. I enjoy the technicality of Stunt; the focus, the counts, the head-to-head competition. In Allstar and school cheer the energy from competitions and football games is unrivaled. The connections and friendships I continue to foster make me a better team player and peer. When I get on the mat/stage it’s not about me it’s about the team and how can WE do better.
