I am excited about the opportunity to cheer at the collegiate level while pursuing my passion for sports medicine. Growing up, my parents introduced me to many activities to channel my energy—karate, gymnastics, soccer, dance, and golf. When I started recreational cheer at seven, I fell in love with every aspect of the sport and never looked back.
My experience working with athletic trainers has inspired me to study the connection between training, nutrition, and physical performance, with the goal of making a positive impact in the field. Cheerleading has shaped me into a well-rounded athlete and person. It allows me to showcase diverse skills like tumbling, stunting, and jumping, while also providing a mental escape from academic pressures.
Coaching young athletes has further fueled my aspiration to one day own my own gym, where I can mentor and inspire others. Through coaching, I’ve learned the importance of adapting to different learning styles and embracing what works best for each individual.
I thrive in team environments that foster camaraderie and shared goals. Whether it’s pulling each other up during tough times or volunteering together, I value the sense of extended family that teamwork brings. I believe my dedication to academics, athletics, and community involvement makes me a strong candidate for your team.
Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to your program.
