When I graduate high school, I plan on attending a college that will teach me and allow me to grow as a person, student, and athlete. I have always been dedicated to what I am passionate about, and I can't wait to go to a college that encourages me to become a better version of myself. I learned how to be hardworking and resilient at a young age due to my 12 years as a competitive gymnast. In my freshman year of high school, I decided to do cheer so I could learn how to be on a team. Not only did I learn teamwork but I also learned to push myself to my limits, confidence, commitment, and be fearless. My transition from gymnastics to cheer was quite easy. All those years of gymnastics paid off because it helps me in strength, flexibility, tumbling, and being mentally strong. As an upperclassman, I take a leadership role in a positive way. I always come to practice with a smile on my face and encourage my teammates to be the best versions of themselves physically and mentally. I am also extremely organized which not only helps my school work but my life because having a sport to do during the day gives me the motivation to continue my goals and schedule. I have worked hard to be able to continue my education after high school, and I am excited to be able to continue my education at a college to be able to build my future career.
