I am Nora Chickering, a senior at Hart High School in Michigan. My passion and desire is to participate in cheer at the college level. I am a very positive and motivated individual who has sought out cheer opportunities at my school, camps, trainings, and private lessons. I am a three sport athlete that participates in Varsity sideline cheer, competitive cheer, and softball. I have been on Varsity for all of my high school career. I do private gymnastics and stunting lessons with Markaya Ashleigh in Muskegon, MI. Even though these sports take up most of my time, I believe academic success should be primary. I have taken A.P classes , honors classes, and college dual enrollment classes. I am also a member of the National Honors Society. I volunteer at dances, clinics, and field days for younger kids. I love competitive cheer! I also love being a part of a team, making new friends, and working positively towards team and individual goals. Cheer has helped me talk to adults and be able to talk in front of a crowd in an effective and positive manner. I wish to continue to cheer in college with my dream of one day being able to cheer for an NFL team or be a Dallas Cowboys’ Cowgirl.
