"Winners never quit and quitters never win" (Vince Lombardi)
As a motivated, hard-working, and reflective high school senior, I have learned a great deal through all star cheerleading. Over my nine seasons, I have grown personally (mentally and physically) developing my standing and running tumbling, perfecting my jump techniques, and gaining stamina to give my all in a two and a half minute routine. I have overcome physical and mental obstacles that have only made me stronger. As a teammate I have learned the importance of working together to accomplish more than any one ever could do alone.
I am a Motor City Cheer Diamonds 2024/25 senior level 5 all star cheerleader. As a two-time Senior 5 National Champion (2022, 2024), our team aspires to compete nationally again this spring. My focus for my final season will be working with our younger athletes to help them develop and continue to grow. I have had opportunities to junior coach in the past. Imparting my experiences and knowledge through a shared passion for cheerleading has been a truly rewarding part of my journey.
I am looking forward to my future after high school graduation in 2025. I hope to attend a college university where I plan to study business majoring in accounting. The rigorous all star cheer schedule balanced with the demands of my high school education has equipped and prepared me for what lies ahead. Ideally I would like the opportunity to continue cheerleading as it has played such an impactful part in shaping who I am today.
