As I am going on to my 14th year of cheerleading, I have decided I want to continue to grow my cheerleading career by pursuing my dream of collegiate level cheerleading. I hope to not only grow my skills but also grow my knowledge on cheerleading to hopefully one day coach my own cheerleading program and I feel that college cheerleading will help me get there. As I do have dreams of becoming a cheer coach, I also want to be a marine biologist. I have an extremely strong passion for this sport and would be so honored to show that cheering at a collegiate level. I believe that being different is such a big part when creating a team and having people with different levels of talent come from everywhere could be an amazing opportunity for the team and school to grow. I have officially reached the highest level my gym has, level 5, but I do have level 6 skills. Over the time I have been cheerleading I have tried every position and have been on every level but overall I have learned that main basing and tumbling are my strong suits. While being in and out of the cheer gym every other day, I have been able to keep my grades up and achieve all A's. My school has also given students the opportunity to take college classes which I have done very well in. I believe that this has helped me learn balance and to have goals set for myself which is a very big part in being a college athlete.
