I plan to attend college and obtain my degree in interior architecture so that I can pursue a career doing what I love. I would love to be able to cheer in high school as well because it is a passion I have had since I was young. I started cheering at the age of five in my community youth league and moved up into my schools program when I started JV cheer in 7th grade. I was asked to tryout for my school's varsity team in 8th grade and cheered on that team through my sophomore year. After that, I decided I wanted to be more competitive and joined the local competitive gym. I have cheered for that team for the last two years and have traveled all over for competitions. I love cheering and all that being a part of a team brings. I also coach a couple of the younger teams at my gym which I feel sets me apart from many other athletes because I get to see both sides of things. I love working with the younger kids and being able to set a positive example for them.
Academics are also very important to me and I am currently the salutatorian of my graduating class. I belong to many clubs and hold offices in those clubs as well as in my graduating class. I take every ACE class that I am able to fit into my schedule and will be graduating with many college credits already obtained. I am a hard worker in every aspect of my life and give my all to everything I am involved in. I believe my dedication makes me an asset to a team and I hope to be able to continue that during my college experience.
