Allison Catalano '23 Recruiting Profile

I love being a member of the Lewiston Porter Varsity Cheer Team. I have worked every day, training, working out, and going to tumbling classes weekly all to improve my skills.  But being a member of the team is more than practice, open gyms, and tumbling.  I love being part of a team where we motivate, encourage, and support one another.  We’ve become leaders in our school.  I’ve learned so much from being on a team.  Hard work is rewarded, and we depend on each other.  Being on the team has forced me to improve my study skills, time management, and organization.  My grades have improved as a result and I balance my studies with practices, games, and competitions.  Last season my team was conference and sectional champions and we went on to the New York State Cheerleading Competition and finished 3^rd overall.  I was a dancer from the the age of  three through sophomore year in high school.   I am going to major in architecture and engineering. I want to be a Walt Disney Imagineer, I love the idea of being able to create and make other people happy while doing it.
