I have been cheering competitively for only 4 years, but it has become my life. I was a gymnast for many years which has helped make the transition into cheerleading quite easy. I have been on my varsity high school cheer team for 3 years and will return for my senior year. This past season I competed on an International Open Level 4 team, which went on to win 1st at the Youth Allstar World Championship. Through my years of cheerleading, I have been put in various roles that require leadership and communication skills. Cheerleading is a beautiful sport that allows athletes to make memories, show off their skills, and create friendships that will last a lifetime. I love being able to call myself a cheerleader, and I hope to continue my career in college.
