Acskret Burris '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been in school cheer since I was in the 7th grade. I tried out my 6th grade year and didn’t make it but I only tried out because my friends tried out. I wanted to give it another try, this time on my own, so I tried out again in 7th grade and instantly fell in love with cheering. My freshman year my cheer team started competing and we have won regional champions once and state runner ups three times. A lot of my teammates hated competing, they said it was too much stress. I loved it. Stunting is my number 1 skill. I love stunting and learning new skills. I will say I do lack in the tumbling department, but I am willing to learn if that’s what I must do. I am also very hardworking in the classroom. I have been accepted into both the #1 and #2 ranked colleges in my state.
