I work extremely hard by challenging myself everyday. I wake up early and have a set routine. I get to school early and spend time in our math center to improve and master the lessons we are learning in calculus currently. During the day there is no wasted academic time, if there is extra time in class I will be doing work to get ahead or stay on track for the next class. I want to always be as prepared as possible. By coming to school early and spending time to get to know my teachers and the math/science/English center teachers I learn more about the classes I am taking and gain a deeper understanding of how to learn. It helps me as a students and an athlete grow and want to continue to strive to get better.
When academic or athletics have a bump in the road I know that I need to make the best of the situation. Though it is never ideal and not in my ideal road map it is something that will be accounted for and I will always make adjustments. For school or spots if I find that I am struggling I will always contact my teacher or coach to keep the communication open as this is important for both of us. Then I will always pick up the slack outside of school or sports by either training or stretching or going to get help and practice. It showed me that keeping an open mind will help guide me in the right direction.
I am most proud to be taking a lot of AP classes and keep my GPA up. While also cheering and dancing every night of the week. I am also the President of the NHS club, Officer of our Senior class, FBLA membership and social media coordinator, member of girls empowerment club, and member of interact club.
