Personal Statement

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing to become a Neonatal Nurse. I am currently a part of the Medical Pathway at Churchill High School where I have gained valuable skills and experience to help ensure my future success. In addition to my collegiate goals and aspirations, I have a strong desire to continue my cheerleading career at the collegiate level. Cheer has been in my life since before I can remember, I always looked up to NFL cheerleaders dreaming that one day I would be a role model for other cheerleaders like them. I got into gymnastics at a young age then in 7th grade I switched to competitive cheerleading. Once high school started I joined the varsity cheer team, and I have fallen in love with cheering for football and basketball games. I have also fallen in love with the community that cheerleaders build with each other, as a cheerleader you need to learn how to be a teammate and a leader and I believe that I have grown in both of these skills.
