It has been my dream to cheer at the collegiate level since I started cheerleading when I was six years old. I have been doing all star cheerleading for nine years. I’m very determined to keep growing as an athlete. I’m very passionate, hard working, and dependable not only in sports but also academically. Cheerleading has taught me many life lessons on and off the mat, such as time management, team work, and accountability.
FYI: I’m the girl with the knee brace in the videos. My knee is fine
As a side note, I tore my ACL in late February of 2020 and had surgery on March 18th. Even though this occurred during the initial shutdown of the COVID-19 pandemic, I still went to physical therapy three times a week to rehab the injury. After months of rigorous therapy, I was able to return to tumbling in October of that same year. I know my perseverance and dedication to the rehab allowed me to heal properly and quickly and get back on the mat to continue doing what I love to do at a high level.
