As a student-athlete in my junior year of high school, I have many goals and aspirations that I work towards every day. I desire to major in Holistic Medicine and specialize in Herbology. I aspire to become a practicing Herbalist to give others a new perspective on healing and deliver knowledge utilized for generations. I enjoy helping others and love seeing smiles and relief on people's faces when things work out for them.
At this aspect in my life, my main goal is to reach my full potential academically by dedicating myself to my studies and becoming the best student I can be. I also have multiple objectives athletically: continuing to gain strength, mind & muscle improvement, and endurance improvement so I can be the most dedicated and spirit raiser on the team. Strong morals and values separate me from an average high schooler. I am a leader on and off the team and believe that developing relationships with everyone and leading by example creates mutual respect. I believe in communication as it's a necessary aspect of all relationships and can be the leading cause of misunderstanding, which is why I strive to communicate. I am different from other recruiters in character as I do not put myself on a pedestal as better than others, regardless of my performance. I always look for ways to improve myself by taking constructive criticism and giving advice and criticism when needed. I differ from other recruits in athletics as I have accomplished many skills in 2 years of competitive cheering, such as learning to back spot several different stunts, getting into physical shape, strengthening my mindset for the hard days, recovering after a few injuries, and continuing to push through, and working on tumbling. These things have shaped me physically and mentally. I have gained many memories I cherish very much, and I hope to gain many more as I take a new step in life. Lastly, I differ from other recruiters in academics by showing myself, my parents, my teachers, and my coach that I can balance school, sports, work, and fun activities once I make up my mind. I let my academics be proof of the hard work used to understand the things taught to me and my passion for learning new things.
