Hello! My name is Tiera and I am a varsity cheerleader for my high school in El Paso Texas. Making Varsity as a freshman was a huge deal for my mom and me. It shows hard work, determination, and perseverance. I aspire to become a collegiate cheerleader once I graduate. I am not only a freshman in high school but also enrolled in my school’s early college program, allowing me to graduate with an associate’s degree. I’ve been cheering for just three short years. I started as a gymnast and ballerina until my 7th-grade year when I decided to try cheer and fell instantly in love with the sport. I’m a base but also; I do fly and work on partner stunts. I compete competitively and take additional tumbling and flyer classes. I was a level 3 all-star cheerleader at Cheer-tastics Crush. It was my first year cheering with this all-star team and it was an amazing experience. Being on an all-star team taught me a lot but also helped me grow and learn things as an athlete. I am currently only doing varsity school cheer, we compete competitively and do sidelines. I’m a member of Top Teens of America where we offer community service for our neighborhood and different nonprofit organizations.
I am Looking forward to getting to know more about this sport I love so much and growing with my team and on a personal level! Thanks for reading!
