Peyton McKinney '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear Future Coaches,    

I have loved cheer ever since I was a little girl, and I knew that I wanted to be a part of my high school in a leadership and spirited way. I believe that I make a good candidate for the future team I will be on because I am willing to work hard in order to achieve my goals. What makes me different is that I want to be better and work harder, so that I feel good at the end of the day. Going back to when I was a freshman and I made the Varsity La Center Wildcat Cheer Team I was not the best. But with dedicaction I was able to become a teammate that the younger girls and boys can look up too. I have offered guidance to several teammates inside and out of cheer to make sure that they feel comfortable in their new position. Academically I would say that I do great, I have managed to get  3.94 GPA so far. Having sports and extra circulars can be hard, but I balance everything out in order to be the best student and teammate I can be. This is why I would be the best candidate for my future team.
