Hello, my name is Janeesa De Sousa, the head captain of Oroville High School's 2023–2024 cheer squad and a third-year returner. My main position is basing in addition to being in the back base position, and I would like to learn more about flying as well. As an athlete, my main objective is to increase my understanding of the sport and to perform to the best of my abilities. I work hard, have a lot of compassion, and am very determined. I broke my ankle at cheer camp in 2023, for example, but I still gave my all in every area of my sport.
