I would like to attend a College or University and compete on a cheer team while pursuing an education in dentistry. I work hard and commit myself to whatever it is that I am doing. This year I was elected as a varsity football captain and learned a lot of valuable lessons about leadership and what it takes to work as a team. Through learning these leadership skills as a captain I feel that I have developed into a good leader. I have also seen and learned what not to do as a leader. I am always willing to work for the greater good of the team. I am an Eagle Scout so I know how to work towards a goal over a long period of time as it took me four years to achieve this goal. I am different from other recruits because I am person that will stand up for myself and others. I will put myself in uncomfortable situations to better myself and the team. I also know how to give constructive criticism to teammates and better other stunt groups. I have been apart of team sports all throughout high school. I played football for four years, did cheer for two years, and ran in track for three years and plan on doing track this spring. I am a 3.9 GPA student and have a current ACT score of 24 but plan on taking it a few more times to shoot for a better score.
