Sierra Larson '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! My name is Sierra Larson and I am a 2023 graduate from Vancouver, Canada. I am a forward who is very eager to play Field Hockey in University. Field hockey has been my passion since age 7. I continue to love it to this day, training 5-6 days a week. I am a member of Sea to Sky FHC. In addition, I train in the Rob Short Coaching Academy. I have been a junior coach within my club for 3 years, leading practices, camps, and workshops. I have been umpiring for 4 years, and continue to advance my umpiring status through various courses. I am the captain of my Division 1 Women’s League Field Hockey team, and I am the second highest scorer in the league. Prior to Covid restrictions, I have had exposure playing field hockey in Florida and Belgium, as well as upcoming trips to Barcelona (2021) and Belgium/Holland (2022). I have a 4.0 gpa, putting me on the first-class honour roll, and am taking multiple advanced courses. I am looking forward to continuing my field hockey career in University!
