Field hockey is a must do for me. I practice year-round, attending all the camps and training I can fit in my schedule. My goal is to get on a team that I can connect with, learn, and play hard with. I met most of my good friends through field hockey and sharing a passion with your teammates really brings you together.
I started playing Goalkeeper my freshman year of high school and after season joined the club Coastal Clash (also run by my high school FH coach). This year, I helped my high school team with our most successful season yet (13-3 in regular season, with 11 shutouts and only 10 goals scored against); moving to a 4th place ranking in our city conference from 12th place last year. I was named to the All Tournament Team at the Serra Varsity Tournament this year (my first time playing in the tournament), as well as the All CIF (San Diego) Second Team.
I like to keep myself busy - outside of school and field hockey, I am an active volunteer with the group Female Athlete Volunteers (FAV). I also work part time as a lifeguard at our community pool.
