Gloria Perez '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Gloria Perez. I am currently a Senior at Bonita High School. This is my third year playing and I am on the Varsity team. I am a starter and have been appointed the captain of the varsity field hockey team since the end of my sophomore season. I fell in love with this sport as soon as tryouts started. I really enjoy the feeling of running on the field trying to get the ball out of the defensive area. One of the reasons I stand out from the rest is that I have not let anyone get past me as a sweeper. I also have a very positive point of view and keep my head high as a person that other people on my team can look at. I know how the get the ball away from the forward without backtracking. I know how the pre-scan the field for the open passes, I also have great communication skills, and I work really well in a team and with others.
