Kila Eadie '18 Recruiting Profile

I began playing field hockey in 7th grade and immediately knew it was going to be my sport. As a three sport athlete, I loved the camaraderie and competitive nature field hockey brought with it. My relentless pursuit of excellence on and off the playing field assisted me in making the high school Varsity team as a sophomore. Being on the team of a top ranked program in the San Diego County was a confidence boost, but not my ultimate goal. I wanted to win a championship as a starting defender. Although we have been unable to beat the one team standing in our way, I have learned to win and lose with grace.

This past season we were the CIF Runners Up. As a three time team captain and my desire to succeed in the classroom and dominate on the field is why I can impact your program. This past season I was awarded the Scholar Athlete Award. What I feel is my best quality as a person, student, or athlete is my joy of being a team player. I feel I can inspire those around me better as we can only succeed together.
