My name is Alexa Wolf and I attend Kingswood Oxford School in West Hartford Ct. This will be my second year attending at KO as my previous years were spent at South Windsor High School. Last year I decided I wanted to challenge myself and reclass as a sophomore so I would have an extra year. I have dedicated my time to sports and my academics where I have challenged myself on and off the field. This is only my second year playing field hockey. But growing up I have been playing ice hockey since I was 5 years old. Last year I decided I wanted to try a new sport on top of play hockey and golf and I thought Field Hockey would be the perfect sport. I ended up falling in love with it and picked the sport up very fast. A lot of my skills came from playing ice hockey because they are very similar sports. I ended up being one of the starters last year for my school which was a fun experience. We have very high competition as being a day school playing against boarding schools in the founders league and our team was very young and new to the game as well. But the best part of the game is the culture of field hockey, the high intensity from teammates and the bonds. I would love to further my academic and athletic career playing field hockey at any division and the reason why I would be a good candidate for your team is because I am positive light with team spirit, hard work, and dedication to getting better and improving with the team.
