If I was asked in 8th grade if I knew what Field Hockey was, I wouldn’t have a clue. I was originally introduced during an 8th grade night that showcased the various sports and clubs that ACHS has to offer. A friend had insisted that I try it with her as a incoming freshman and I couldn’t be more grateful.
Fast forward almost four years and Field Hockey has come to be the sport that I truly love. This sport, as many do, has expressed to me that the game isn’t about perfection. I don’t need to have the best pass or defend a strong drive from an opponent. Field Hockey has shared with me that I can continue to learn from my own failures alongside losses that the team takes together.
Off of the field, I am studious. I take multiple AP classes and honors classes in order to be the best student I can be. Each semester, I strive to obtain A’s in all of my classes in order to prove to myself that I understand the content that I am being taught and that I am able to overcome the hardships that come with higher level classes. By the end of my high school career, I hope to graduate with both National Honor Society along with Cum Laude. Then I would like to go on to receive my bachelor’s in Biology. Following this, I aspire to receive a further education through Medical School to ultimately become a Pediatrician.
I am a player who is willing to give their all for the team. I get along well with all of my teammates. I consistently give 100% of my effort, whether that be in the classroom or on the field. I am coachable and I believe that I have the ability to coach others around me.
