Personal Statement
Hi coaches, my name is Emma Cociña, from Buenos Aires Argentina. I'll be graduating from high school in December 2024.
For a few years now, I have been interested in the idea of being able to study abroad, and in 2022 while I was on a field hockey campus here in Argentina I met a friend who gave me the idea of exploring my university career in the US. Immediately after my friend gave me the idea I loved it and now it's one of my biggest dreams to study in the US.
I consider myself a competitive person in the field, who will always give her 110%. I believe that I am also a very supportive teammate, I will always back up any decision any teammate makes and help and support anyone despite the fact the decision is right or wrong.
For my college experience, I am looking for a team who will make me feel as if I was at home, part of that is because I'll be very far from home. I believe that a team is formed by different people who have a fundamental role within it and that they all complement each other.
To conclude, I would love to live the experience of studying in the US. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and I will end my senior year in December 2024.
