Personal Statement

I 'm a 17-year old field hockey forward from Bonn in Germany. When I'm not on the hockey field or at school I am a coach for our hockey kindergarten and I'm working as a coach for the U8 group in our camps.

I'm a forward of our first women's team that is competing in the German Premier League, both outdoor and indoor. While playing for our youth team which played in the highest German youth leagues I used to be team captain for many years. During these years I have developed into an experienced and skilled player with an excellent technique, an ability to read the game and field in advance and a very powerful hit. There is a natural hunger in me to score goals. I'm always determined to win and hard working.

I was selected for the U13, U14 and U16 West Germany Selection Team (best 18 players) and scored 5 goals during the biggest tournament of German U16 teams. Also I played U10 and U12 in the highest German youth league and I've always been the top scorer of my team.
