Personal Statement
From a young age, I found my passion for field hockey at primary school in South Africa, and have continued it into High School . I have worked hard to better my abilities and skills, achieving Varsity Team in my 10th Grade year. I have remained diligent and disciplined in constantly improving myself and being a valuable team player.
I would love the opportunity to continue to improve and excel in this sport at the next level, along with pursuing a University Degree. I plan to enter the science or medical fields because I enjoy biology and physical science. I also feel my kind and caring nature can improve peoples lives. I feel fortunate to have such a close supportive family, including my parents, siblings and extended family. They have all showed me encouragement in academics and always doing my best to achieve my full potential, which has allowed me to have academic success. Their example, motivation and love is invaluable to me.
I look forward to a future opportunity to continue in my athletic and academic goals, to be successful and make an impact in people's lives.
