My field hockey goal would be to play for my country, as there would be no greater achievement. I constantly want to be able to improve on my hockey, whether that be my fitness or my skills. As a goalkeeper, it is also important to have good communication and work well with other players, and I am always working on my communication and knowledge of the game, I love to meet new people and I make a good, fun team mate.
I have represented my school in the National tournament, played for my State team (Auckland U15) where we won a silver medal at the National championships and am part of their high performance development program. I also play Club hockey and in 2018 was named goalkeeper of the year (for both men and women) for the Club.
I love to learn, especially with technology. I achieved ‘distinction’ across all subjects in 2018 and top in class for ‘Visual Design and Digital Technologies’. I love game design and coding a game – it is a challenging subject but watching everything come together and work in the end is amazing to see.
I would love to be part of a great team that achieves high standards and reaches its goals and study hard for a great education.
I also plan to start University in September 2021 (or earlier if needed). I graduate here in New Zealand December 2020, but due to the difference in the calendar years I will not start until 2021.
