Personal Statement
I would love to play field hockey in college. I am extremely passionate about the sport and want to continue playing throughout my final years of education. I aspire to play at a high level in university whilst gaining a degree in Psychology and participating in other extra-curricular and school activities. Further, my goal is to play in the World Cup as I am currently a Forward in the Zimbabwe U21 squad for the 2022 World Cup.
I strive to better myself in all aspects of my athletics and academics and put 100% into every drill, practice, and game. I enjoy a new challenge and am good at encouraging others to step up to the plate and be the best that they can be.
I have good time management skills which has enabled me to spend several hours each day training as well as participating in a full school curriculum (Cambridge AS levels) as I achieved mostly As and Bs for my IGCSE Cambridge examinations in 2019, and have been an active member in a number of different clubs.
The opportunity of playing for Provincial, National, and School Teams have given me the experience to play with a diverse range of players at the top level and learn from them, whilst gaining the ability to integrate into different team dynamics.
