Personal Statement
Hello Coaches, my name is Magdalene Kargbo.
I started playing field hockey at 12 years of age. It was my first time playing and I never had much interest in the game. However, as I grew older, my interest in hockey began to grow. I am now 15 years old, I am playing for my school's 1st team and train day in and day out. I hope to play defense for an American college once I graduate in 2026. I am a very hardworking and committed player and I am a team player, helping out those who need it. I have strong passes across the field and have a great game reading of match play. What makes me different from other recruits is that I will always find my way around the bad and search for the good. I will be doing my GSCEs soon and I take my academics very seriously. I hope to hear from colleges soon as it is always better to start earlier!
