Personal Statement
Hey Coaches!
Since the age of 5, field hockey has been my life! I don’t remember a time that I didn’t play this amazing sport.
I’ve played field hockey all over the world, in Germany, Australia, France and the U.S. Now, I hope to continue my hockey journey in the US as a student-athlete.
Currently, I am playing in the second national league in France, flying across the country every weekend for matches. But, it’s not enough for me! I want to train every day, run for hours, score incredible goals and be part of an amazing team again.
I often find myself looking back at pictures and memories from National Competitions during my time in Australia and I’ve finally realised why: I miss playing with teammates around my own age. That’s exactly why, I am so eager to play field hockey in the US.
I’ve always prided myself on being a versatile and determined individual. Besides my athletic abilities, I graduated as best of my class, with a bilingual diploma in the top 8% of IB candidates worldwide. Additionally, I received the Art Award for my exhibition on animal cruelty. I love doing anything and everything creative, including drawing, painting, sewing and designing.
Being a student-athlete will allow me to combine amazing academics and professional athletics, which is exactly why I think the US is the best place for me.
