2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Victoria Trejo, and I was born in San Antonio, Texas. I now reside in Chile. I am multilingual and speak both English and Spanish. Craighouse School is a private British school with a strong athletic program, and it is my current school.
I've been playing field hockey for my school since first grade, but I joined the COBS Field Hockey Club in sixth grade. After that, I began performing both domestically and internationally. This year, I will also attend several summer clinics in Baltimore and Pennsylvania, as well as travel with my current team in October 2024, to play in the United Kingdom, Scotland, and Madrid, Spain.
My plan while in university in the United States is to keep playing field hockey and get a degree. I am on the hunt for a university that promotes an environment that welcomes and celebrates diversity in thought, practice, and viewpoint in order to level the playing field for all students.
I'm a senior in high school, graduating this December 2024, and starting my college years in 2025 with a great field hockey team in the USA.
