Personal Statement
I am 17 years old, currently attending Westlake Girls High School in year 12. I currently play for 3 teams, Westlake 1stX11, Takapuna Hockey Club’s Premier team, and also North Harbour Hockeys U18 Regional team. I would love the opportunity to go to collage overseas, for an experience with both education, and hockey. Academically I have a priority to study something relative to my sporting career, particularly a physio. My biggest aspiration is to represent New Zealand in field hockey, however I would love the opportunity to play hockey in a country other to my own, especially in the United States. I am a great candidate for the team because I am a team player, that is easy to get along with. I strive to keep the environment a positive one through my sense of humour, although I have an incredible amount of determination, and dedication to reach personal, and team success.
