My name is Izzy Hass and I played competitive soccer and field hockey for several years before my passion for field hockey took over and led me to pursue it as my full time sport. Playing Division I field hockey is my goal. I work toward this goal daily by applying myself academically at school, attending strength/speed/agility training and always working hard in practices and games for both my school and club teams. When playing field hockey, I stand out with excellent off-the-ball movement, communication with my teammates, solid corner inserts and tips along with sheer determination to win the ball from my opponent and make smart passes to my teammates. Attending clinics and tournaments with a high level of competition and seasoned coaches (Level 1 Futures, NFC Stars and Stripes, AAU Junior Olympics, etc.) along with playing (and starting) as a freshman for my high school varsity team has not only increased my field hockey skills but my overall knowledge of the game. I will continue to do everything it takes to better myself athletically and academically so that I can achieve my goal of playing Division I field hockey at a top university.
