Isabella (Bella) Jerger '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Bella Jerger and I am in the class of 2024 at Ballard High School. In college, I hope to study to become a cardiothoracic surgeon while playing as a field hockey goalie at the collegiate level. I'm a very strong student, with over a 4.0 GPA, a PSAT score of 1250, and an ACT score of 31. I am in my school's biomedical program, and I participate in several extracurricular activities including HOSA, Spanish Club, Beta Club, and National Honor Society. I'm extremely competitive both academically and athletically, and I'm always striving to be the best I can be. My ability to balance my academic, athletic, and personal life is my strongest quality that allows me to give my best effort in everything that I do. I am a field hockey goalie for both IFHCK and Ballard High School, where I was the captain of the JV team my sophomore year and the starting varsity goalie for most of my junior year.  These opportunities have helped me to enhance my communication and leadership skills and have allowed me to grow as an aggressive, assertive, and resilient goalkeeper who will do anything to keep the ball out of the cage.
