Amelia Brightwell '23 Recruiting Profile

I want to continue my athletic career and reach the top of my potential. I care about how I play and always try my absolute best to play to the best of my ability. Not only am I an excellent student at the top academic high school in Kentucky, but I also am able to balance the large load of coursework with school sports, clubs, and club sports. One of things I love about being a student athlete is being always busy. I am very much a "go, go, go" person so I find handling the stress of school, sports and life pushes myself to be the best version of myself I can be. With that being said, not only am I aggressive on the field, but in the classroom as well. I take many difficult courses, challenging myself academically. I have an excellent work ethic and rarely get stressed about the work load, allowing me to focus my energy into field hockey when I can. Playing at the next level would be amazing and I believe that I can handle being a student athlete in college.
