Abigail Potts '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abby Potts and I am currently attending Louisville Male High School as a senior. I have started every game and year of my high school career. I have made the all-state team two years out of three. I was choosen to play for IFHCK in November 2010 in Pheonix, Arizona on a U19 team. I played in the National Field Hockey Tournament. I am a very hard worker and I push through struggles even when times at practices become tough. I am always a good team player even when its hard to be. I always obey my coaches and do what they tell me to do. I take any advice they give me and try to use in my play. I am always striving my hardest to be the best I can be and help my team out.
When having to juggle, school, work, and sports I do very well with managing my time. I am looking for a college where I can recieve a good education for a degree in education. I currently live in Louisville, Kentucky but I am open to going and looking at colleges out of state and potentially going to one out of state.
Considering I have struggled through school with a learning disability all my life I am looking for a college that has small class sizes and that is very home like. But if playing for a DI, DII, or DIII team thats right for me means bigger class sizes I am willing to work with it and put more work into school in order to play field hockey in college and make a future for myself. If I am given the chance to play field hockey in college I will do anything and work my hardest to work with my teammates and do whatever it takes to strive to do the best I can possibly do.
