Janessa Bishop '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am Janessa Bishop, and I attend Brewer High School located in Brewer Maine. First, my biggest goal going into college would be finding a school that best fits what I want to major in. I aspire to continue my learning in journalism and media. I've always had an interest in writing, public speaking, and film/photography!

Next, I am very involved at Brewer High School. I am a senior this year, and since freshman year, I've found clubs that sparked my interest. I am in Se Beowulf Honors English Society, Yearbook, Ambassadors, and I am also the Vice President of Student Athlete Advisory Council. On top of this, I am a two year captain for our field hockey team, and I also play basketball and softball. 

I believe that I would be a good candidate because I love working with others. I've always been very social and have a knack for helping others when they need it. I appreciate every coach who has reached out to me, and I can't wait to start learning more about different colleges and programs!
