Paige Seymour '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Paige Seymour I go to Brewer High School. I have been playing field hockey since fifth grade and my love for the sport has only grown from there. I play year-round with my club team Black Bear Elite and every opportunity I get to play with my school team. I have been on Varsity since my freshman year, a starter since my sophomore, and I  have been a captain both my Junior and Senior year. After I learned the game I didn't stop there, I wanted to know the other sides of field hockey too. I volunteer as much as possible with the brewer youth league as an assistant coach. I also have shadowed refs at middle school games and have even been able to ref a few. Reffing has been such a great opportunity for me, it made me appreciate refs so much more because now I have been in their position and realize how hard it is. Reffing has also expanded my knowledge of the game. I look forward to continuing to play in college.
