My name is Aubrey. I was born in Guatemala and was adopted when I was ten months old. I have lived in Maine ever since. I love playing Field Hockey. I can play all of the field positions. I started playing when I was in second grade, and I have been playing ever since. I have played for my middle school team and my high school team. I became a varsity starter in tenth grade. During the past two winters, I have played indoor field hockey with Coastal Premier Field Hockey in Saco, Maine. In 2012 I was selected for USA Field Hockey Futures, and trained with Dani Ryder (then head coach at the University of New England, and now the head coach at Bates). In 2012 I was on the team that won the Maine Games. I played at the 2013 USAFH Festival with the HTC Field Hockey U19 team and I played for the Jersey Elite U19 team at the 2014 Disney Showcase. My aspiration for college is to study Early Childhood Education, as I want to be a preschool teacher, and to play field hockey at a competitive level. I participated in the Futures Regional Tournament in Providence (May 2014), at College Connection at UMASS Amherst, and at the New England Premier Showcase at UNH in June 2014. Currently I am playing Midfield for my high school team.
