Kailey Hackett '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kailey; my friends all call me KK! I'm a fun loving person and on most days cheerful and upbeat.  I am a year round athlete in which I play Varsity level Field Hockey, Softball, and Cheering  for my high school team; the Dirigo Cougars. On the off season for field hockey I play for an elite travel team, Maine STYX. I have been playing with STYX for three years now which has helped me develop some amazing stick work and field skills. I plan to play field hockey in college as well as follow in my mothers foot steps and pursue  a career in nursing. I am currently taking a CNA course through my school and am ranked #1 in the class. I take pride in my school work and give 110% in anything I do both on and off the sports fields. I am not afraid to take risks and when asked to take on new challenges I do so with pride and confidence. My high school coach says I am easily coachable and possess leadership skills beyond my age, which is why she chose me to lead my team as Captain this past year. I look forward to using the skills I have learned thus far in life and build on them as I enter my college career.
