Personal Statement

My name is Abigale Bsullak a Varsity Field Hockey center midfielder all throughout mid school and high school.  If you are looking for a Solid, Driven, Fast, Positive, Team member and Midfielder for Fall 2023?  I am your player.     I am driven both academically and, on the field, but also find such joy in the game.   I take my studies seriously first and foremost, but this allows me to then focus on the field hockey which is important to me. I have played many sports through the years but found overall a true love field hockey and in my high school years I knew this was my sport.  I give 110 percent effort no matter the conditions and I never give up despite the challenge before me.   I am open minded player that is flexible with different positions on the field but enjoy being a mid-fielder position most - I have truly become a leader and love being a positive role model for younger players.   I am a positive player and the past three years voted the captain of my high school team beginning in my sophomore year.  I have achieved All-Conference the past two years of High School and Coaches award for leadership, character and positive role modeling on the team during sophomore and junior year.   I believe positive mentality has a huge impact on the game and in life.  I have no doubts that when you have that positive mentality as a player and as a team you can accomplish more.  I have persevered through academic reading challenges in my younger years due to chronic ear infections, I pushed and persevered from an IEP student in the early years for reading support to a student taking AP and college classes during all four years recently awarded All-Academics.  In college I will be pursuing Nursing. You will never see me leave home without my paperwhite device; reading is now for pleasure every moment I have between academics. Never giving up is not just a cliche but a motto that drives me both in my personal life and on the field, to true tangible outcomes, "the encourager" might be my second middle name on and off the field, for both myself and others to get through it to the other side, do the play, do the task, to gain positive end result.  I love to win, but more importantly, I want everyone to put forth their best to the game. I give my personal best at every game and I am often heard on field and off cheering on players to encourage their very best as well.  I am driven - I would be an asset to your team. As a last humbling honor I just learned I was voted the All-State Team. An amazing close to my Senior year of field hockey.

I make this commitment to myself as an athlete off the field. I want to excel, and I do not just play the sport and stop. I am a year-round athlete and work hard on and off the field as it's a mindset for me. I train and run 5k's as a summer regiment. I ski in the winter. I push myself; I keep my focus through exercise, I maintain my strength for the season because I train year round. I run 2-4 5k's in the summer with friends or my sibling.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
