I’ve played all kinds of sports ever since I was very young, but ever since my first season of playing field hockey in seventh grade, I have had a special passion and love for the sport. This passion has helped me as a player, as I have enjoyed playing club for several years, and was the only freshman and then the only sophomore to make my high school's varsity team. I pride myself in being a kind, encouraging, cooperative, hard-working, and knowledgeable teammate and player that brings my all to every practice and game. My personal character, which I believe has developed greatly through years of playing several sports and participating in extracurricular activities and clubs of interest to me, is something that I am always striving to improve and to develop. I strive to carry these characteristics off the field too, and in everything I do. I take a challenging course load, have been on the honor roll each semester, and am involved in my school's government and numerous clubs. My dream is to play field hockey at the collegiate level - to be at a school where I am constantly being challenged to better myself both academically and athletically, to connect with others and develop long-lasting relationships, and to become a dependable member of a competitive team.
