Enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable and supportive are all adjectives that describe me as an athlete and a student. My goal is to play field hockey at the collegiate level at a school that challenges and supports me academically. I work hard in school and take challenging classes. I strive to do my best academically and athletically while maintaining a healthy balance between the two.
I was a successful competitive club swimmer for four years when I began my freshman year of high school and swam for Skyline's varsity team. Starting high school during Covid and the individuality of swimming inspired me to rethink things. I decided to make a big change to field hockey which is more team focused and collaborative. In field hockey, you get to celebrate the wins, console the losses, and grow together as a team and as an individual. This group experience goes beyond individual skill and is really important to me. I worked hard everyday to catch up to other field hockey players my age, and after one year I made the Fer De Lance Elite team and played for my high school. We were the state champions my sophomore year, and state runner ups my junior year. I continue to learn and work hard every day with the goal of becoming a collegiate athlete.
