I have been playing field hockey since 6th grade. I love spending team bonding time with my team mates. Coaches and teachers say I am a great team player and leader. I enjoy helping team members improve their game, and I love to encourage them on and off the field. School is my top priority, but my team and the game comes next. I am a very focused student. When I'm not doing school work or playing field hockey my favorite thing to do is to sit at the racetrack with friends. During the winter months, I play on an indoor field hockey team at a local facility, and I also enjoy snowboarding. In the spring/summer my team plays a few other local teams at Colby Sawyer College, and now at Landmark College as well, to get back into the feel of the outdoor game and prepare us for the upcoming season. My biggest influence is my high school field hockey coach, Patty Deschaine, because she has had a huge impact on my life during and outside of field hockey. Patty is always there when I need her, no matter what the circumstances are. She has taught me many things in life, and I always look up to her if I need help.
